If you or a family member currently have Delta Dental Insurance , or are considering switching to Delta Dental insurance, please read this important message to the end. Since Dr. Bennett Jeong opened the practice in 1979, we have been an in-network provider for Delta Dental as a Delta Premier Provider. As of January 1, 2023, Delta Dental has removed all dental offices as Premier Providers, thus changing our original contract we held with them since 1979.
The quality of care our patients deserve and are accustomed to will be difficult to maintain moving forward if we remain contracted with Delta Dental. Although Delta Dental has changed its relationship with Premier Providers, we will continue to welcome all Delta Dental patients. You will access your benefits on an out-of-network basis as of January 1, 2024 . Fortunately, your plan allows you to see out-of-network dentists. We will be able to help you with the details at your next appointment or over the phone.
What this means for you:
● We will still accept your insurance and will maximize your benefits in our office.
● In many cases, Delta Dental’s out-of-network coverage is as good as in-network coverage. There are many variables, so please call us to discuss your particular situation.
● We will continue to provide all insurance services including: eligibility confirmation, predetermination of benefits on request, billing with complete documentation and communication with Delta on your behalf.
● Any payment or predetermination of benefits will be sent directly to you and not, as in the past, to our office. Payment to our office will be kindly requested at the time of service.
● You can trust that you will continually receive the highest care from us.
While Delta has changed its relationship with us, we hold our relationship with you in maintaining your health our priority. We remain committed to providing the highest level of dental care possible with the most highly trained staff available to you.
